Evidently prepared by an agent, in Spain, of an Italian state, possibly Tuscany, for his home government. Concerns the financial resources of the Spanish King, either Philip II (d. 1598) or Philip III (d. 1621), sometime after 1585, the year of the approval of the Crusade against Protestants in the Netherlands and England by Pope Sixtus V. Gives amounts of revenues, and system of proclamation and collection, from secular parties, as well as revenues from vacant bishops' sees.
